In March 2015 the Spanish team was host for the Comenius partners. We visited the Spanish school, which is located in a rural area. At a museum we learned about life in former times and the production of cider - the national drink. Last but not least we enjoyed the wonderful landscape.

In November 2014 our Comenius friends visited our school in Germany and learned a bit more about Niederwerrn, medieval life in Schweinfurt and Würzburg's famous scientist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. What will the future be like? - That's what I asked pupils of class 9a and 8a (13-16 year-olds). Their answers are really interesting. Some of them show quite a pessimistic vision of the future. Others developed interesting ideas concerning weight problems, health, technical development, ways of telephoning, using computer or robots.
If YOU are also curious, go to the "Songs" and listen to their ideas! :-) Everybody knows the Brothers Grimm. They are famous all over their world for their fairy tales. Pupils of class 5a read some of their fairy tales and afterwards made up their own fairy tales. You can read their stories, when you have a closer look at the category "Song".
Learning from the past - Looking for the future
Learning from the past - Looking for the future That's the title of our Comenius-project. The first meeting has been going on in Swansea, Wales. Pupils painted pictures about "old and new". All participating teachers brought pictures to Wales. These will go on a journey all over Europe and will be exhibited in the different countries. |
